The Lamborghini Polo Classic is coming to Westworld on April 20, 2008. The Lamborghini Polo Classic will feature an afternoon full of competition. There is a Battle of the Chefs luncheon, a Battle of the Sexes Polo Game, hot air balloons, sixty plus Lamborghini automobiles, half-time money run and much more.
The festivities begin at 11:00 AM with tether balloon rides for the attendees, followed by the Battle of the Chefs. Three Chefs will take the stage and each prepare either a steak, chicken or fish dish. The Chefs will make each demonstration a show with music and their entourage. After each demonstration everyone will be served that entree. At the end of the competition each table will vote for their favorite Chef. Each Chef is represented by either a red, white or blue balloon at each table. Attendees will pop the two Chef balloons that they do not want to win. The Chef with the most balloons flying will win.
At 1:30 the Lamborghini parade of automobiles will be accompanied by the Color Guard for the National Anthem. Followed by the Battle of the Sexes Polo Game. The Lamborghini of Scottsdale Men’s polo team will go head to head with the U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management Women’s polo team. This is a strip polo format with the horses being stripped after the game.
The Half-time money run will feature Four hundred bags with $1 and one bag with $100 will be dropped onto the field and guests will be held to the side until the horn blows. And then it is like the land rush of the 1800\'s as everyone scrambles to get a bag.
General admission is free with a donation to the families of our Service Men and Women from Luke Air Force Base.

| 25th Anniversary Pro Polo at LAEC

In the 1980s and 1990s the Professional Polo Games at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center drew tremendous crowds with a wide range of celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone, Stefanie Powers, Ernest Borgnine, Bill Devane, Tommy Lee Jones, Bernadette Peters, Merv Griffin, Keanu Reeves, Zza Zza Gabor, Elizabeth Taylor, Sam Shepard, Jessica Lange, Johnny Grant, Bruce Boxleitner, Pernell Roberts, Wilt Chamberlain, Nicollette Sheridan, William Shatner, Alex Cord, Robert Wagner, Patrick Duffy, Jane Seymour, Pamela Sue Martin, Mickey Dolenz, and Juice Newton to name a few. On a Saturday night it was the place to be and the place to be seen.
On June 28th, 2008 we will be bringing back the glamour and excitement that was Professional Polo at LAEC. Two incredible polo games will be played. The first is a Celebrity Polo Game at 7:00 PM featuring past celebrity players Bill Devane, Stefanie Powers, Doug Sheehan, Alex Cord and Grainger Hines and the second game at 8:00 PM will feature players from the Golden Days of LAEC Polo. A get together with the players will follow the last game.

| Ford Trucks Equestrian America Balloon Festival

An event for the entire family is returning to Aiken on September 19-21, 2008. The Ford Trucks Equestrian America Balloon Festival has something for everyone. The Festival this year will be held at the Aiken Polo Club fields on Powderhouse Road. On the equestrian side we will feature exhibitions from Aikens next generation of equestrians. Junior equestrians will be showcased in polo, barrel racing, jumping, hunting, dressage and much more. In regard to the balloons we will have 30 hot air balloons and a couple of special shape balloons.
Festivities begin on Friday September 19th with barrel racing at 4:00 PM, jumping exhibition at 5:00 PM, Kids Balloon run at 6:00 PM, Special Shape balloons and tether balloon rides at 7:00 PM, Fireworks display at 8:00 PM.
On Saturday September 20th the balloons will take off at 6:30 AM, dressage exhibition at 7:30 AM, hunting exhibition at 9:00 AM. Gates close at 10:00 AM and reopen at 4:00 PM. Jack Russell races at 4:00 PM, Kids balloon roundup at 4:30 PM, $5000 Skins Polo Game at 5:00 PM, Balloon Glow and concert by the U.S Army Signal Corp Band at 7:30 PM.
On Sunday September 21st the balloons will take off at 6:30 AM, Junior Polo Game at 7:30 AM and exhibition to be announced at 9:00 AM.
In addition to the daily activities there will be an equestrian trade fair, attendees will be able to visit over 100 equestrian exhibitors. Exhibits will feature everything from tack, trailers, nutrition, jewelry, trucks, barns, insurance, fencing, clothes, real estate, tractors, publications, etc., along with a kids playground, food and beverage vendors. Admission is free with a donation to the families of our Service Men and Women from Fort Gordon Army Base.
Attendees will also be treated with a complimentary copy of the Aiken Equestrian Yearbook for supporting the troops.
