Polo America and long time polo supporter Ford Trucks joined forces to create the world's first hot air balloon featuring polo players. The Ford Trucks Polo balloon is seven stories tall and features four 35' polo players. The balloon was created to build awareness for the sport of polo. The Ford Trucks Polo balloon was unveiled at the Ford Trucks Red, White & Blue Polo and Balloon Festival at the Eldorado Polo Club on January 6, 2006.
The Ford Trucks Polo balloon travels around the United States promoting the sport of polo. The balloon has flown at the Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game in Indio, CA, U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville, KY, 302 Polo in Aiken, South Carolina, Ford Trucks Red, White & Blue Balloon Festival in Las Vegas, Ford Trucks Red, White and Blue Polo and Balloon Festival, Ford Trucks Equestrian Balloon Festival, Aviation Nation in Las Vegas and the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
