The fifteenth annual Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game will be played on March 25, 2007 at the prestigious Eldorado Polo Club. The brainchild of Randy Russell, the Skins Polo Game is one of the most popular polo events on the west coast. Everyone loves the idea of Skins format for polo. Every March, two high goal teams compete for $24,000 in prize money. Winners of the first chukker will receive $4000, if its a tie, the money will roll over into the second chukker, etc. Each of the six chukkers are worth $4000. Proceeds from the gate on March 25, 2007 will benefit the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center. Six High Goal teams will compete the first three weeks of March for a chance to play in the fifteenth annual "Skins Polo Game".
The Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game regularly draws a crowd of Hollywood's elite. Past attendees have included: Frank Sinatra, Merv Griffin, Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, Mary Ann Mobley, Gary Collins, Jerry Vale, Carol Channing, Frank Gifford, and many more.
The festivities include a formal luncheon, 100 horse polo pony parade, fashion show, half-time money run and the $24,000 Skins Polo Game.
